The term "files", as used here, refers to any external file store in the servers filesystem. For the purpose of this site, these files could be javascripts, stylesheets, PHP scripts, text files, or any other text-based files. As a general rule Etomite does not use external file formats other than image files, .css, .js, or an ocassional PHP script.
